Portgordon Art Group

The Portgordon Art Group was formed in 1993 by local people who shared an interest in Art & Design.  They thought that by forming a group, they would be able to develop their skills and techniques in Drawing and Painting, through exchanging their ideas in an informal and friendly atmosphere.  During the formative years, the Group was greatly assisted by the first Art Tutor, John Belcher, who helped members achieve a high standard of work, which in turn reflected well on the Art Group.
 

Our members, come form all walks of life. We meet on Fridays and once a month a chosen tutor visits to give instruction on the many facets of painting. We also take time to have a chat over refreshments about our work and ideas.

Membership is open to all and we offer a friendly welcome if you would like to start to draw or paint.
